More councils across Australia could be set to follow the lead of NSW town Bundanoon and ban sales of bottled water as part of a push to dump plastic and bring drinkers back to the tap. National water supplier Culligan Water – the company behind three filtered drinking fountains in Bundanoon – has been approached by nearly 50 councils nationwide who want sales of bottled water to dry up for good.
